Wow, total maintenance this week. I guess that is to be expected, I haven’t eaten particularly well and have not gone to the gym more than once or twice. I was hoping to do better since I was supposed to leave for my vacation today and don’t expect to be a very good eater or exerciser over the next couple weeks, but work got in the way.  Anyway, it is snowing like mad in Kabul today...

That was the number on my scale on Thursday. That is exciting when compared to the 184.4 of the day prior, but not as exciting as the 179.4 of this morning! The moral of the story is that my weight fluctuates like crazy on a daily basis. So rather than fix myself on a particular number I want to see, I will just focus on a range. Alas, I already am doing so well on updating this with frequency. It has been a busy couple of days, work-wise, but I have mostly been behaving. My very athletic friend, V, is in town and has been motivating me to get to the gym. Am still on week 2 of the Couch-to-five-k plan, with walking afterwards. On the whole, have been eating pretty well, with the exception of a few greasy-pasta, no veggie...
